Keynotes
Portrait of Love is a live sculpture performance.
t all happens within minutes. Watch as hands dramatically work together to masterfully sculpt 100 pounds of raw clay into a larger than life size bust of Christ. Then, travel back in time through the scriptures to relive the travesty of his trial, his torture at the hands of soldiers and finally his cruel death on the cross. Each detail becomes more painfully real to the audience who confronts the suffering Christ endured to show His love for us.
Richard Hight has spent his life making the Bible come alive for his audiences. He has worked alongside many of today’s top Christian recording artists, evangelists and in some of the nation’s largest churches. He has performed for and spoken to millions of people on TV, at theaters, colleges, and at houses of worship across the cultural and religious spectrum. His larger-than-life canvases are filled with vibrant color and an energy that compels his audience to stay involoved in the message. Richard’s somber and moving sculpture presentation of Christ and story of Christ’s passion demands a response to the question, “What then shall you do with this man named Christ?”
